On World Pizza Day (9th February, 2024), Here are 7 unconventional pizza toppings that you might find interesting or will make you say WTF! Eat at your own risk.
1. Chocolate topping
As per a Quora user, 'I saw this abomination at the supermarket in Germany'. Well, she may not have liked the look of it, but will you dare to try?
2. French fries toppings
This pizza topping was found by a Quora user in the UK. A pizza topped with French fries [aka chips in UK/AUS] and hot dog sausages. You can try making this at home and tell us how it was or maybe not.
3. Brussel Sprouts and Cabbage toppings
A reddit user narrated her ordeal. "During Christmas of 2021 (I think) ASDA sold a Christmas Dinner pizza featuring turkey, roast potatoes, stuffing and Brussels sprouts - yes really. It was every bit as bad as you can imagine. Even the leftovers made the fridge stink of rotting cabbage. I don't think it was repeated the following year." Reddit comment section agreed with the user.
4. Raisins
Something worse than Pineapple topping has taken over. Yes, Raisin topping is the new form of low, as per Reddit. It works with most type of cheese, but traditionally it goes with a specific kind of Afghan cheese which is crumbly and low in salt.
5. Egg York with Whipped cream pizza
This Egglicious pizza has egg york as a topping along with a dash of whipped cream. Sometimes sweet, sometimes salty, sometimes pukish. We are not sure how this is going to taste but the combination is certainly making us sick.
6. Snake Pizza
Pizza Hut Hong Kong has collaborated with Ser Wong Fun, a century-old Hong Kong restaurant, to introduce a unique dish¡ªsnake pizza. And we are not sure about eating regular Margarita pizzas anymore. It all seems questionable now.
