Priyanka Das is a PhD student at ISAE-SUPAERO and is working on satellite navigation systems in cooperation with Safran Electronics and Defense. Das, who hails from Dhemaji, Assam found her love for the skies when she was just three-years-old. She's has followed her dreams since then and today is a PhD student at ISAE-SUPAERO and is working on satellite navigation systems in cooperation with Safran Electronics and Defense.
A report in North East Now, mentions that the engine and parts of the Rafale fighter plane are provided by Safran Electronics, and Priyanka and her team of engineers before joining Safran had already made a micro satellite in Paris.
According to this intreview, Das who is fascinated by all things that involve space, started her academic career with Bachelor¡¯s Degree in Physics (Honors) from St. Stephens College, University of Delhi.

North East Now states that Das joined Ecole Polytechnique for its 4-year Ing¨¦nieur Polytechnicien program (promotion X2013), specializing her third year in Data Science. During her fourth year for a double degree masters in Aerospace Engineering, Das enrolled herself into ISAE-Supa¨¦ro.
Apart from working on the satellite navigation system Das also hoped to contribute towards the self-driving vehicle technology.
She has brought laurels to the country, by being honoured by the French Govt for her immense contribution towards the navigation system of the Rafale aircraft.
