The ever-so-creative millennials have taken to proposing with a ring inside an avocado. Proposing using an avocado involves cutting it in half and removing the pit to make space for an engagement ring. One firm called Custom Avocados is enabling people to get messages carved on the fruits to pop the question.

The ever-so-creative millennials have taken to proposing with a ring inside an avocado. Yep, that' right- A friggin avocado of all the things!
It was thought to have started in early February when Amsterdam-based food stylist Colette Dike posted on Instagram that people should propose using the ¡°avo box¡±.
He wrote, ¡°tag someone who should propose like this.¡± The post went viral and was reposted more than 10,000 times.
Proposing using an avocado involves cutting it in half and removing the pit to make space for an engagement ring. Then open it as if it were a box. Pop the question, the answer to which should ideally be 'I avaca-Do'

While the trend might be just catching up now, back in 2016 a vegan enthusiast and avocado-lover posted a photo in October 2016 - of her fianc¨¦ down on one knee with the gloriously green and buttery fruit.
And people have been going 'avo-nuts about this trend!
