Plundering Their Home - 4 Elephants Crossing Railway Line Crushed By A Speeding Train In Odisha
Humans have encroached upon homes of so many animals and birds, in an effort to satiate their never-ending greed. We have left them homeless and hapless and we seem to have little regard for their life.
In a tragic incident, four elephants died after a speeding train ran over them in Odisha*s Jharsuguda district early on Monday.

※Since it is an elephant corridor we had earlier moved to the Railways and asked them to keep the train on limited speed in that area. However, we will inquire under which circumstances the accident took place,§ Assistant Conservator of Forest Pradip Kumar Dhal told the New Indian Express.
The herd included a calf too, officials told ANI.

Train movement was reportedly stalled for a few hours as forest officials tried to remove the bodies with the help of cranes.
Human-wildlife interference has wreaked havoc on these voiceless creatures. Time and again we've heard of incidents where the animals have had to bear the brunt of human activity. Since more and more and animals are reaching the brink of extinction, the least we can do is be slightly more proactive by safeguarding their habitat.
