The blossoming of cherry blossoms is a popular drawcard for tourists from across the globe. People in millions flock to the region to marvel at their beauty. Kunming Zoo in Yunnan Province is hosting Cherry Blossom Festival which is their 19th. Shanghai is about to host its biggest Cherry Blossoms Festival from March 16th to April 15th.
It's not fair that the northern hemisphere gets to enjoy so much more of mother nature than just the end of winter - from breathtaking Northern lights to astounding cherry blossoms, they have it all.

Cherry Blossoms have just bloomed in China and the entire region is covered in a gorgeous veil of colourful blossoms - in shades of pink, a little yellow, red and purple. This spring is going to be there until the end of next month.

At Kunming Zoo in Yunnan Province is, therefore, hosting Cherry Blossom Festival, which is their 19th. In this festival that began on 7th March and will last till 7th April, the zoo will feature 5,000 flowering cherry and crab-apple trees.

That's just not all. Shanghai is about to host its biggest Cherry Blossom Festival from March 16th to April 15th in Gucun Park. It will showcase more than 12,000 cherry blossom trees of 82 varieties.
