These Are The Places Where You Can Find Free Public WiFi Hotspots In India!
Mobile service provider Airtel will be providing 30 minutes of free Wi-Fi access in Gurugram city. The concept of free public WiFi in the country was started in January when Google¡¯s free public WiFi service at railway stations went live with Mumbai Central station in Mumbai.
It's now possible to pass time by browsing the net at public places. With a time limit of 20-30 minutes, one can easily use the public Wi-Fi. However, the speed isn't guaranteed as it's not the best yet.
Here¡¯s a look at the free WiFi spots across some cities in India:

In Delhi, places like Khan Market and Connaught Place offer free WiFi. The hip Hauz Khas village (HKV) also has free-WiFi by TataDocomo. The WiFi is free for the first 20 minutes of login. Re-charge cards are available once the 20 minutes are up. Coffee shops and bookstores in Delhi provide free WiFi service too. That is the reason, you would see Barista Coffee N-16 in CP and Oxford Bookstore always crowded. To use the WiFi at Rajiv Chowk, Kashmere Gate, users need to register their mobile number after choosing the Delhi Metro WiFi spot. It is then, that an OTP is generated, and sent via SMS, which can be used to log-in.
