Alia Bhatt, Neetu Kapoor And Others Remember Rishi Kapoor On His Death Anniversary
On Rishi Kapoor's second death anniversary today, social media is full of messages remembering the legend.
Two years ago on this day, Bollywood lost a gem and a legend. Rishi Kapoor breathed his last on April 30, 2020, and left all his family members, friends, and millions of fans, teary-eyed. The actor had fought a long battle with leukaemia and passed away at the age of 67.

Neetu Kapoor penned an emotional note and wrote how the only way to heal was by keeping herself 'mentally occupied'. She shared a video from a television show, where she is seen breaking down in tears after remembering her late husband. The same video had gone viral yesterday.
Neetu wrote, "Today is two years since rishi ji left us ¡ loosing a partner of 45 years was difficult n painful at that time the only way to heal my heart was to keep myself mentally occupied .. Movie n television heldped me achieve that ... rishiji will always be remembered n will stay in everyone¡¯s heart forever."
A viral video from Dance Deewane Juniors went viral recently that shows the actress breaking down while remembering Rishi Kapoor as a contestant's grandmother talks about how the actor had helped her husband. Neetu Kapoor then says, 'Rishi ji nahi hai but mai roz kisi na kisi se milti hu aur roz koi na koi mujhe unki yaad dilaata hai. Sabki ek story hai unke saath (Rishi ji is no longer here but everyday someone or the other reminds me of him. Everybody has a story with him)."
Alia Bhatt also remembered Rishi Kapoor on his death anniversary. She took to Instagram and shared a throwback picture with the late actor, Neetu Kapoor, and her (now husband) Ranbir Kapoor.
Along with the picture she wrote, "Always and forever." The picture is from the time when Rishi Kapoor was undergoing treatment in the US.

Riddhima Kapoor Sahani shared a major throwback photo of Rishi Kapoor back from when she was just a child. A young Rishi Kapoor is seen holding his daughter in his arms in the pic. Sharing the photo, Riddhima wrote, "Papa," along with a heart emoji.
Paresh Rawal, who stepped into Rishi Kapoor's shoes for his character in his swan song, wrote on Twitter, "Remembering our beloved CHINTU SAAB."

Sharmaji Namkeen was Rishi Kapoor's last film that released on March 31 this year. The film's shooting was still underway when Rishi Kapoor bid adieu to the world forever. To help the team complete the film, Paresh Rawak stepped in and played Sharma ji, the central character.
Sharmaji Namkeen also starred Juhi Chawla in a supporting role.
