Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's dreamy wedding pictures are all over the internet and fans can't stop gushing over the two. The wedding was a two-day event with only 28 guests present at the venue. Day 1 had the haldi and mehndi ceremony while day 2 was the wedding and after party.
After a long wait, Alia Bhatt has finally shared pictures from the Mehendi ceremony.
Sharing deets about her mehendi ceremony, the actress wrote, "The Mehendi was like something out of a dream. It was a day full of love, family, our beautiful best friends, a LOT of French fries, a surprise performance by the ladkewalas, Ayan playing DJ, a BIG surprise organised by Mr. Kapoor (my favourite artist performed my favourite songs), all followed by some happy tears and quiet, blissful moments with the love of my life. There are daysĄ and then there are days like these!"
In one of the pictures, Ranbir was seen holding a picture of his father, late actor Rishi Kapoor, thus making him a part of wedding festivities.
For the mehendi, Alia chose to wear a Manish Malhotra ensemble. The designer shared her pictures on Instagram and shared details of the ensemble.
The caption read, "A treasure of traceability and trust. The very beautiful @aliaabhatt chose to personalize her Mehendi ensemble with a sustainable approach, where approximately 180 textiles patches come together to mark her momentous occasion, the most special one indeed."
