One wrote, ¡°11 baje start kii thi #JubileeOnPrime ab khatam hui hai bhai totally invested! Totally mesmerised by the color tone and the way they¡¯ve portrayed 40s-50s cinema. The twists, the politics, the charm they¡¯ve carried throughout was amazing! Hats off to the cast amazing work y¡¯all.¡±
Another added, ¡°Just finished episode 1 of #JubileeOnPrime stunned to see the amount of detailing done on the set designs/props/locations..that too for a web series. Kudos to the makers. Webseries is surely the future of entertainment.¡±
A third added, ¡°#JubileeOnPrime is undoubtedly one of Amazon¡¯s strongest and well-made shows. It¡¯s grand, it¡¯s detailed, it doesn¡¯t let you steer away; with performances that are too fine. Long time since a show kept me up till 5 in the morning, but they really deserved the attention.¡±
Is it creative licence or just lazy research when a period drama is set in the Hindi film industry of 1947, but the concept of playback is just being introduced and people already talk about 'naya paisa'?#JubileeOnPrime #anachronism

#jubileeonprime is marred by bad casting barring Prosenjit and Aditi. Aparshakti¡¯s one note performance is so forced and laboured it gets on the nerves after a while. Morose. Dull. Pessimistic. This was supposed to be about the magic of cinema in the golden era??!?

Best thing about #Jubilee, beyond the actors & direction, which are both good, is Alokananda Dasgupta's @AlokanandaD's background score! It is stupendous. Let there be more original creation like hers. May background scoring/music get its long deserved due.

The film takes place in Bombay in 1947, when the newly independent nation is mesmerised by the movie stars.
Through a series of events, Binod takes Madan's position after the two of them get into a vehicle accident, and he later becomes a well-known movie star.
Yet, because he has little control over his life, Binod begins to realise the price of fame. In the film, Wamiqa Gabbi plays the young musician Nilofer, and Sidhant Gupta plays the budding director Jay Khanna, who desires to work with the famous "Madan Kumar." Ram Kapoor is also a part of the cast.
Prosenjit Chatterjee plays the owner of Roy Talkies; his wife, Aditi Rao Hydari, is having an affair with Madan Kumar.
Episodes 1 through 5 of the first part of the series aired on April 7. Episodes 6 through 10 of the second half will be made available on Amazon Prime Video on April 14th. Jubilee is created in association with Phantom Productions, Reliance Entertainment, and Andolan Films.
