Year in Search 2024: Google has dropped the list of most searched content of this year and its India list totally justifies the hype some movies and shows received in 2024. It＊s almost the curtain down on this rollercoaster year so we thought why not tell you where you can watch the content that India loved unanimously? Here＊s a look at the country＊s most favourite films and web series with their OTT platform.
Google＊s most-searched Indian movies of 2024
Just for a heads-up, this data is from Google＊s Year in Search 2024 - India edition. Topping the charts is Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor＊s Stree 2 which surely ruled our hearts. This is followed by Prabhas＊ mega actioner Kalki 2898 AD which went on to become the 4th highest-grossing Indian movie of all time. Rural dramas 12th Fail and Laapataa Ladies took third and fourth place respectively.
The rest six on the list were movies coming from southern India that were loved nationwide immensely. This included Prasanth Varma＊s Hanu-Man, Vijay Sethupathi＊s Maharaja, Malayalam real-life based thriller Manjummel Boys, Vijay＊s The Greatest of All Time, Prabhas＊ Salaar: Part 1 每 Ceasefire and Fahadh Faasil＊s Aavesham. Ruling this list is Sanjay Leela Bhansali＊s magnum opus Heeramandi which is followed by the crime thriller Mirzapur. American post-apocalyptic drama Last of Us takes the third spot with Salman Khan＊s Bigg Boss 17 on number 4. TVF＊s hit franchise Panchayat is 5th on the list followed by Queen of Tears, Marry My Husband, Kota Factory, Bigg Boss 18 and 3 Body Problem. Here are their OTT destinations:-
