2K Love Story¡¯s plot summary

Karthik and Monica, fondly known as ¡®Karthi-Moni¡¯, have been inseparable since childhood. Their bond isn't just personal but a brand. Together, they run a pre-wedding shoot studio and even have a massive following on social media, where they showcase their unique friendship. But when it's time to settle down, life throws them an unexpected curveball.

Both are set to marry siblings from the same family, a seemingly perfect arrangement until doubts creep in. Is their friendship truly platonic, or is there something more they¡¯ve never acknowledged? As opinions swirl around them, Karthik and Moni are forced to confront the one question they've never asked themselves - what does their relationship really mean?

The Times of India rated the film 2.5 out of 5 and a part of their review read, ¡°The film finds its comfort zone in lighter scenes and casual moments, where its characters feel most at home. The charm shows through. 2K Love Story wants to say something about modern friendships but gets caught between its youthful ambitions and conventional storytelling. The ideas are there ¡ª they're just still buffering.¡±

Written and directed by Suseenthiran, 2K Love Story also stars Meenakshi Govindarajan, Bala Saravanan, Antony Bhagyraj, Jayaprakash and Vinodhini Vaidyanathan among others. Bankrolled by Vignesh Subramanian under City Light Pictures, the rom-com is a D. Imman musical cinematographed by V. S. Anandha Krishna and edited by Thiyagu.
