Baby John OTT Release Date: Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh's latest theatrical outing recently emerged as one of the most highly anticipated OTT releases. As we informed our readers in the February 2025 streaming slate that Baby John will most likely drop this month, it has now finally started streaming silently. But what is the catch here? Read on!
When and where to watch Baby John on OTT?
Baby John started streaming on Amazon Prime Video on 5th February 2025 but on a rental basis. Audiences can buy or rent the film for now. However, as per a Hindustan Times report, Varun's movie will be available for free streaming (for subscribed users) from 14th February - Valentine's Day. Baby John's box office fate
Released on 25th December 2024 in theatres, Baby John's lifetime collection stands at just Rs 61 crore which was way behind the film's reported budget of Rs 160+ crore. Not just due to numbers but the audiences and critics also gave negative reviews about the failed attempt and made Baby John a box office bomb. This Thaman musical is an official remake of Atlee's 2016 Tamil film Theri.
Baby John was directed by Kalees and produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Murad Khetani, Atlee and Priya Atlee under the banner of Jio Studios, Cine1 Studios, Vipin Agnihotri Films and A for Apple Studios. Cinematographed by Kiran Koushik and edited by Ruben, this 161-minute-long drama was written by Sumit Arora with inputs from Atlee and Kalees.
Other than Varun and Keerthy, Baby John also starred Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff, Rajpal Yadav, Zara Zyanna, Sheeba Chaddha, Zakir Hussain, Prakash Belawadi, Armaan Khera, Shrikant Yadav, Besant Ravi, B. S. Avinash, Resh Lamba, Sadanand Patil, Snigddha Suman, Kaali Venkat, Sonalli Sharmisshtha, Omkar Das Manikpuri and Jaideep Ahlawat among others.
