As per Netflix Junkie, Con-Mum, which chronicles the strange tale of Graham Hornigold, a TV pastry chef and co-founder of Longboys Doughnuts, will be based on actual events. Over the course of his 28-year cooking career, Hornigold has worked in some of London's greatest eateries and hotels. A lady named Dionne emailed Hornigold in July 2020, claiming to be his biological mother. An emotional reunion resulted from her claiming he had been taken from her when he was two years old. Days later, at a penthouse in Liverpool, the two bonded over champagne while Dionne showed off her wealth and glamorous lifestyle.
The documentary will reveal how Dionne allegedly used mind-games to wreck Hornigold's life by fabricating her identity.
