Culinary Class Wars OTT release date Netflix: When to watch the South Korean cooking competition

Netflix has been expanding the type of content it has to offer to its subscribers. The streaming platform is coming up with a brand-new and very interesting South Korean cooking competition series very soon, crazy right?. Titled as Culinary Class Wars, the show has set its release date and it will release on the OTT platform next month. In Culinary Class Wars, black spoon hidden masters are all set to face off against Korea¡¯s top ¡°white spoon¡± star chefs. Culinary Class Wars will be released on Netflix on 17th September 2024.

Plot

Culinary Class Wars pits Korea's top "white spoon" star chefs against Michelin-starred chefs, culinary survival show winners, and industry legends. The "black spoon" hidden masters include home-meal restaurant chefs, trendy pub owners, Chinese restaurant chefs with solid legacies, and school canteen chefs in charge of celebrity meals.

According to Netflix, the director Kim Hak-min claims they wanted to highlight the remarkable diversity of Korean culinary specialists with this global Netflix broadcast. A diverse group of 100 candidates, encompassing Korean, Western, Chinese, Japanese, and Fusion cuisines, were chosen based on their distinct culinary ideologies.

Cast and crew

The two iconic judges on the show, Chef Anh Sung-jae of Mosu Seoul, the country's sole Michelin three-star restaurant, and Paik Jong-won, the top restaurateur and national culinary mentor in Korea, will further heighten the excitement. Kim Hak-min is the director.

Culinary Class Wars is the first culinary survival show on Netflix Korea, which debuted after Physical: 100 became a global hit.
