What is DanDaDan about?
Okarun, an occult geek, and Momo, a high school student from a family of spirit mediums, quarrel when they first meet. Okarun believes in aliens but denies ghosts, while Momo believes in spirits but denies aliens. When it turns out that both phenomena are true, Okarun acquires the power of a curse and Momo awakens a latent strength. They must fight the supernatural powers endangering their world together.

At the anime studio Science SARU, Fuga Yamashiro directed the first season of the TV anime series, while Hiroshi Seko wrote the scripts, Naoyuki Onda designed the characters, and Kensuke Ushio composed the soundtrack.
According to Crunchyroll, since April 2021, Yukinobu Tatsu's original DAN DA DAN manga has been serialized in Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ digital manga magazine; thus far, 17 volumes have been published in Japan. VIZ Media offers an English-language edition.
