Story Of Posto - Film That Inspired Shastry Virudh Shastry
In 2017, Windows Production's movie Posto was released. Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad wrote and directed the movie, respectively. Dinen Lahiri and Arnab are portrayed by Soumitra Chatterjee and Jisshu U Sengupta as father and son. Dinen is seeking custody of Posto, his grandson. The conflict between generations over a seven-year-old child's custody is the subject of the movie. The grandpa, who had raised his grandson from birth, sought to court to be allowed to keep him. That led to a disagreement with his son. In order to spare his grandson the anguish, Dinen abandoned the lawsuit at the end, even though he was going to win.
Shastry Virudh Shastry follows the same story but has a Bollywood touch.
