Fauda Actor Idan Amed Injured While While Fighting Against Hamas In Gaza, Says Israeli Diplomat
Actor Amedi, best known for his role in the Netflix series Fauda, enlisted in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) at the start of the conflict and suffered severe injuries in a battle in Gaza.
An Israeli diplomat reported on Monday that Israeli musician, composer, and actor Idan Amedi was "severely injured" in the current conflict between Israel and Hamas.
Actor Amedi, best known for his role in the Netflix series Fauda, enlisted in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) at the start of the conflict and suffered severe injuries in a battle in Gaza.
The news was confirmed by an Israeli diplomat Avia Levi. She wrote on X, "Idan Amedi, one of Fauda's actors, has been seriously injured in a battle in Gaza". "We pray and pray for your speedy recovery," she added.

The Times of Israel also shared deets about the whole situation, Idan Amedi was taken to the Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer, where he is still under receiving treatment, after suffering severe injuries.
Idan Amedi's father was also quoted in the story, confirming the injury. Ayelet, the famous actor's cousin, also posted about the injuries on Instagram, asking followers to pray for him to heal.

A few months ago, Amedi talked about why he made the choice to enlist in the military in an emotional video message.
He said, "As you can see, I am in slightly different attire today. This is not a scene from Fauda; this is real life".
He went on to add, "Our army was called up on Saturday morning as events in the south of Israel began. All I wanted to tell you is that, alongside horrifying and vicious attacks, where our friends and loved ones were murdered, our morale remains high. We fully comprehend why we are here. We are here to protect our children, our families, and our homes. We will not surrender until we win. Millions of items are sent to us daily, as well as your beautifully written letters and drawings from the children. It gives us strength, and I love you. I hope we will see quieter days soon"
