Rajiv recently starred in the critically acclaimed Netflix series IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack. In the show, he portrayed a hijacker. Rajiv Thakur¡¯s point of view on the challenging role
While speaking to TimesofIndia, Rajiv talked about the transition he has made. He went on to say that he has loved making his viewers laugh and to play a negative role in a show came to him as a challenge he could not have said no to.
He was quoted saying, ¡°I've always loved making people laugh, but I knew I had more to offer as an actor. When the opportunity to play the antagonist in IC 814 came along, I saw it as the perfect challenge. He expressed his gratitude to Director Anubhav Sinha, Mukesh Chhabra, and the streaming platform for believing in me."
