The Goat OTT release came about after much anticipation from binge-watchers and fans of actor Vijay, and it left everyone ecstatic. Many are now wondering if they will be lucky enough to see the director's cut of the anticipated film and see the deleted scenes after Goat¡¯s theatrical version debuted on Netflix a few days ago. In contrast to the rumors that suggested otherwise, director Venkat Prabhu revealed on October 3 that the theatrical version had been released on Netflix, not the director¡¯s cut. But, where is the director¡¯s cut?

On his social media account, Venkat Prabhu wrote, ¡°"enjoy the theatrical version at home!!."
He went on to add, "For director's cut lotta VFX and final work required guys!! So will talk to my producers @AGS_production and release it as deleted scenes or an extended cut in da coming future!!! Now enjoy this version!!."

Taking to X, many people had shared their reviews after the Goat released on Netflix. One wrote, ¡°#TheGOAT was a fun watch. Few moments fell short, many were genuinely good. Surprisingly, it wasn't the action or the other Vijay tht stood out, but the first half's well-crafted drama.¡±
Another went on to add, ¡°A predictable mainstream Film with average first half and decent second half. ¡°
For the unversed, After Leo: Bloody Sweet, GOAT is now his second-biggest blockbuster with a total revenue of Rs 250.16 crore. In addition, Vijay announced his political organization Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam in February, finally registered it in September.
