Manisha Koirala took to Instagram to share a photo of herself with the popular filmmaker and former actor Mumtaz Khan. She was seen rocking the red shirt look alongside evergreen Mumtaz who was seen wearing an all-white outfit. If the rumours are true, Mumtaz will return to the screen after 45 years.

Heeramandi will star Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, and Aditi Rao Hydari among others. A few other veteran actresses would also make a cameo appearance. Priyanka Chopra was also offered a role as the main lead, however, she declined the same due to her date issues. However, there is no confirmation on the cast.
Plot
According to what we know so far, Moin Beg wrote the story. And, about 16 years ago, Moin shared a 14-page story of this period drama with Sanjay Leela Bansali. Heeramandi will investigate sex worker stories and the underlying cultural real world of Heeramandi a sparkling neighbourhood in pre-independence India. It's a Kotha series about love, betrayal, succession, and politics.

Heeramandi's Release Date
As of now, there has been no official confirmation of Heeramandi's release date. The shooting of Heeramandi is set to have start around June 1. For now, we know that it will take at least five months to complete. We are hoping to expect the release in the first half of 2023.
