According to her husband, Radhika is introduced as "simply a housewife," but she actually has a covert espionage personality.
In the teaser, Radhika is depicted as a housewife wearing a sari who appears to be having trouble with her responsibilities and appears to have no idea how anything works. While she performs her duties, she spills objects with her butter-fingered hands and even causes a mess by using a mixer without the jar cover. Sheb Chatterjee, her husband, responds, "arre wo kuch nahi karti (she doesn't do anything), she is simply a housewife," when asked what she does. Soon after, Radhika makes a dramatic entrance while fighting criminals in the dark while wearing a black bodysuit.

The film "Mrs. Undercover," written and directed by debutante Anushree Mehta, depicts the story of Durga, an everyday Indian housewife who is a special undercover spy called back to duty after a decade away.
She has since forgotten all about being an undercover spy, spending all of her time caring for her mother-in-law, father-in-law, son, and a demanding patriarchal husband as "simply" a housewife.¡° We make spy films and we make comedy films. ¡®Mrs. Undercover¡¯ marks the beginning of making spy comedies. With the film, I want to celebrate the amazing quality of multitasking that is imbibed in the system of every woman and this film is a story of such a multitasker housewife who also happens to be a fun, entertaining and action-packed undercover spy,¡± the director said.
The movie is written by Abir Sengupta of Indoo Ki Jawani fame and directed by Anushree Mehta. Rajesh Sharma and Sumeet Vyas also have significant parts in the movie.
The release date of Radhika Apte's movie has been eagerly anticipated by fans ever since it was announced. The film's release date has been updated by the producers in the interim. In April of this year, Radhika Apte will feature in this spy comedy, which will air on the OTT service ZEE5.
Although the filmmakers withheld the release date, they teased fans by teasing when month the movie will be released.
