According to media reports, Suriya¡¯s ambitious upcoming film Kanguva will make its OTT debut on Prime Video. Yes, you read that right. The OTT platform has acquired the digital rights of the upcoming Tamil film reportedly for a big amount of Rs 100 crore, and if the reports are to be believed, this makes this movie Suriya¡¯s only movie to get sold at Rs 100 crores in an OTT deal.
Plot
Nothing much is known about the storyline of Kanguva, but the name of the film, Kanguva, means "The Man with the Power of Fire." It is said that it will be an Indian fantasy action film. The film has been made with a budget of around Rs 300 crore, making it one of the most expensive films ever made in India.

Cast and crew
The film has been directed by Siva and produced by Studio Green and UV Creations. The star cast of Kanguva includes actors like Suriya, Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Jagapathi Babu, Anandaraj, Natarajan Subramaniam, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, and Kovai Sarala.
The film between Suriya and Siva was originally announced in 2019, but was delayed due to coronavirud. The project was relaunched in 2022 and wrapped up in January this year. The film has been shot in Indian locations like Chennai, Kerala, Kodaikanal, and many others. The other technical crew members are Devi Sri Prasad, Vetri Palanisamy, and Nishadh Yusuf.
