Karan Johar Admits He Was Embarrassed After Not Being Invited To Vicky-Katrina's Wedding

Karan Johar's films most often showcase beautiful and larger-than-life weddings. KJo's fascination for weddings is not just for the reel; he also loves weddings in real life.

Several viral videos of him dancing at several celebrity weddings prove that. Whether it's Sonam Kapoor's or Alia Bhatt's wedding, KJo has always been seen enjoying and celebrating the D-day of his loved ones.

However, recently, KJo shared some confessions about not being "invited" to recent celebrity weddings.

The tables are turning on Karan Johar as it's his turn to spill some Koffee beans as he prepares to wrap up the seventh season of his popular chat show, Koffee With Karan.

The Koffee With Karan Awards jury members, Tanmay Bhatt, Niharika NM, Kusha Kapila, and Danish Sait, will feature in the finale episode.

In the season finale, Karan will be seen discussing how awkward he felt after he did not make a cut into Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal's wedding guest list.

KJo claimed that guests would frequently ask why he hadn't even been invited or whether he and Katrina-Vicky continued to be on friendly terms after their wedding.

Spilling the beans on his innermost feelings, KJo says,

"When Vicky and Katrina were getting married, it became very embarrassing for me. It got to a point where people were like you did not tell us about them, you are at the wedding and still not telling us, etc.! It got very embarrassing to admit that I had not been invited. Then after the wedding came the sympathies and doubts. People were like, why weren't you invited? Is everything ok between you guys?"

However, he found consolation and "little peace" when he learned that Anurag Kashyap was also not invited. He said, "When I learned that Anurag Kashyap had not been invited to Vicky-Kat's wedding, I did find a little peace."

In Gangs of Wasseypur, Vicky Kaushal worked as Anurag Kashyap's assistant director. He has starred in several Anurag Kashyap movies, including Bombay Velvet and Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana.

On December 9, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal were married in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. Their families and close friends, including Sharvari Wagh, Kabir Khan, and Mini Mathur, attended the wedding.
