Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar Talks About Kotabommali PS
She told OTTPlay, "This is the first time that I have played a cop in a Telugu film. In the Malayalam original 'Nayattu', my character has no equivalent. The weight of my character in the Telugu adaptation is much more significant".
On being asked why she chose the film, she said, "Investigative thrillers have become a trend these days. I have always wanted to try a variety of characters in Telugu. 'Kota Bommali PS' offered me a platform and I am super thrilled to see how my role will be received by the Telugu audience."
