Love Death + Robots Volume 4 OTT release date: Love Death + Robots has given us three very interesting volumes till now and it's almost time for it to release the fourth one too. Love, Death + Robots has been created by Tim Miller and this time around the madness will be doubled. The animated anthology series will debut its first new episodes in three years with Volume 4. Before Season 3 won four Annie Awards, this new season was approved back in August 2022. There will be 10 original shorts in volume 4. Love Death + Robots Volume 4 will be released on Netflix on 15th May.

Plot

The series is an adaptation of Fincher and Miller's lengthy in-development reboot of the 1981 animated science fiction movie Heavy Metal, which was initially intended to adhere to the original film's feature length format but could be more suitable for the younger audience.

As per Netflix,¡±Terrifying creatures, wicked surprises and dark comedy converge in this NSFW anthology of animated stories.¡±

Cast and crew

David Fincher is the executive producer of Tim Miller's Love, Death + Robots. Jennifer Yuh Nelson is back in her role as supervising director. Episodes of the series have been directed by Fincher, Yuh Nelson, and Miller: Fincher debuted as an animator with "Bad Traveling" from Volume 3.

March 15, 2019 saw the release of the first season; May 14, 2021, the second; and May 20, 2022, the third. Critics have given the show favorable reviews, praising the animation in each episode.
