Murmur OTT release date: This gripping Tamil horror-thriller starring Richie Kapoor, which hit theaters on March 7, 2025, is now gearing up for its OTT release. Murmur will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video and Tentkotta starting April 4.
Murmur plot summary
A group of four YouTubers: Melvin (Devraj), Rishi (Richie Kapoor), Ankitha (Suganya), and Jenifer (Aria), set out with their guide Kaantha (Yuvikha) to explore the legend of Saptha Kannigal (Seven Virgins) in a secluded village.
Their journey to uncover the truth behind the folklore and the vengeful spirit Mangai soon turns into a real-life horror.
As eerie and unexplainable events unfold, they realise the myth might not just be a story, and escaping the village alive may not be an option.
Murmur cast and crew
Directed and written by Hemnath Narayanan, Murmur features a strong ensemble cast, including Richie Kapoor, Yuvikha Rajendran, Suganya Shanmugam, and Aria Selvaraj.
The film is backed by Prabakaran S. under Spk Pictures Private Limited and Stand Alone Pictures International Private Limited, and Kewyn Frederick provides the score.
Murmur is brought to life through Jason Williams' cinematography and Rohith V's sharp editing.
