The fourth movie in the hugely successful My Hero Academia trilogy, My Hero Academia: You're Next, is a gift for anime enthusiasts. This action-packed installment, which picks up after the events of the sixth season of the anime, ups the ante as Deku and his classmates from U.A. High-Class 1-A face their most difficult task to date. A new antagonist, Dark Might, appears with the ability to support his audacious claims and asserts that he is the legitimate heir to All Might's legacy. Dark Might, supported by the Gollini Family, a nefarious criminal organization, puts everything the young heroes value in jeopardy.
Cast and crew
Directed by Tensai Okamura, the film brings fans an epic showdown as Deku, Bakugo, Todoroki, and the rest of Class 1-A must come together to stop this new menace. The movie features standout voice performances from Van Barr Jr., Nasim Benelkour, and Kimmie Britt, bringing these beloved characters to life with depth and energy.
Tensai Okamura is the film's director and has been in charge of the series since 2024. Yosuke Kuroda, who has been working on the series since its 2016 premiere, has written the screenplay.
