The wealthy businesswoman and socialite announced her addition to the series with regular Emma Roberts in a spooky video she shared on Monday to her 352 million Instagram followers.
In the brief clip, "Rock-a-bye Baby" is crooned in an off-key fashion, and the line "Emma and Kim are delicate" is muttered.
According to the entertainment news source Variety, Kardashian will play the starring role in Season 12 of a character created just for her.
Following the emergence of a sex tape, Kardashian, who originally achieved recognition as a member of Paris Hilton's entourage, shot to international fame.
Reacting to this, one wrote, ¡°kim kardashian is probably gonna be like killed off in the beginning of ahs just like they did with drew barrymore in scream.¡±
A second added, ¡°Honestly if they put Kim kardashian in a comedy ensemble tv show and get some good writers she could be the star of the show. I feel like she would be funny asl lol.¡±
