Plot

Parineeta begins with Lalita and Shekhar's coincidental meeting at Monghyr station following their four-year separation. The story takes place against the backdrop of the Bengal Partition in 1905. Debchandrima Singha Roy portrays Lalita, a lively young lady whose memories of Shekhar come back.
Their relationship goes beyond mere friendship because it is based on years of companionship and unspoken feelings. A hint of their romance as young adults will be shown, which gives their reunion an air of nostalgia and desire.
