Perusu OTT Release Date: Popular content creator Niharika NM recently made her big screen acting debut with this adult entertainer, which was loved largely by the audiences and critics. Released theatrically on 14th March, the film didn¡¯t do well financially at the box office. However, it is set to live a second life on OTT. According to Times Now, Perusu will be streaming on Netflix starting April 11, 2025.

Directed by Ilango Ram, Perusu also starred Vaibhav, Sunil Reddy, Chandini Tamilarasan, Deepa Shankar, Nakkalites Dhanam, Redin Kingsley, Bala Saravanan, Karunakaran, VTV Ganesh, Munishkanth, Gajaraj and Swaminathan among others. Cinematographed by Sathya Thilakam, the film is jointly produced by Stone Bench Films, Baweja Studios and Ember Light Studio.

Perusu¡¯s plot summary

This comedy-drama revolves around two brothers who face an awkward situation when their father dies. They discover that their father has a bizarre and embarrassing condition: he has a constant erection even after death. As they try to keep this secret and manage the funeral without anyone finding out, they deal with family problems and learn more about each other. It's a mix of humor and awkward moments with a focus on family dynamics.

The Times of India rated the movie 3 out of 5, and a part of their review read, ¡°Perusu never pretends to reach beyond its raunchy premise or offer profound insights into the human condition. It¡¯s a two-hour exercise in committed absurdity that delivers what it promises ¡ª a consistent stream of chuckles punctuated by a few genuine laughs. Comedy¡¯s rigor mortis hasn¡¯t quite set in, but neither has true comic immortality.¡±
