Perusu OTT Release: Popular creator Niharika NM is all set to make her debut on the big screen with this Tamil film directed by Ilango Ram. The film is slated for release this summer and the first few posters have been creating quite a buzz. For OTT lovers, Perusu will be streaming on Netflix after its theatrical run concludes.
Perusu¡¯s first look out now
The makers of Perusu recently revealed the film's first look which featured the main cast standing in a circle, looking suspiciously at something placed on the ground. Niharika captioned the poster with a fun message that read, "Let¡¯s just say that the Perusu Pedha problem refuses to go down and is standing tall making it impossible to ignore. A Fun, Family, Funeral film."
Perusu¡¯s premise
This comedy-drama is a remake of the Sinhalese movie Tentigo and promises to be a family-friendly, fun-filled movie with a unique twist. According to the team, it will feature fresh storytelling that is sure to surprise audiences, offering a complete entertainment package suitable for all types of viewers. Perusu will also be dubbed and released in Telugu under the name Pedha.
Perusu¡¯s crew
The film is produced by Kaarthekeyen S, Harman Baweja, Hiranya Perera and Karthik Subbaraj under the banner of Stone Bench Films, Baweja Studios, Emberlight Studios and Sasi Naga. Kaarthekeyen recently spoke about it and said, ¡°We are thrilled to collaborate with Ilango Ram on Perusu. The film combines fresh storytelling with strong performances, making it a full entertainer.¡±
Perusu¡¯s music is composed by Arun Raj, while the cinematography is handled by Sathya Thilakam. The film also features editing by Sooriya Kumaraguru and art direction by Sunil Villuwamangalath.
