The show's first premiere took place on Tuesday night at PVR ICON, Palladium, with some of the biggest names in Indian cinema, including veteran performer Rekha, Varun Dhawan, Raj & DK, and Kabir Khan, walking the blue carpet. The lead cast also included Chopra Jonas and Madden.
¡°I¡¯m very excited to be starting the global campaign for ¡®Citadel¡¯ in India, my home. We will be travelling across the globe after this, but I¡¯ve got good luck from millions from my country and I will carry it wherever I go, like I always do,¡± Chopra Jonas told reporters.

The actor also revealed details of her first encounter with Madden, a co-star from "Game of Thrones" and "Bodyguard" fame.
¡°Richard and I met for the first time at a social dinner. We got along when we met for the first time. Then we met at award functions and after parties. But when I met him for work, I knew he was a disciplined actor who likes to prepare like me. That¡¯s why we get along so well,¡± she said.
Together, they walked the blue carpet. Madden selected a charcoal black suit, while Chopra Jonas wore a Versace dress in a turquoise green hue.

Madden expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate with Chopra Jonas and his pleasure at the show's first Indian debut.
¡°It¡¯s a wonderful feeling to have the show premiere for the first time in India. I love the first time of things and it¡¯s the first premiere for ¡®Citadel¡¯ and my first time in India. I just wish I was here for longer,¡± the Scottish star, who was on three-day visit to the country, said.
The independent global intelligence agency Citadel fell, and "Citadel" follows elite agents Mason Kane and Nadia Sinh who had their memories erased as they barely survived.
The two main characters, who are oblivious of their pasts, construct new lives while assuming new identities. Up until one night, when Mason is located by Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci), a former colleague from the Citadel, who urgently needs his assistance to stop rival agency Manticore from establishing a new global order.
Mason seeks out Nadia, his former partner, and the two spies embark on a mission that takes them around the world in an effort to stop Manticore, all while contending with a relationship built on secrets, lies, and a dangerous-yet-undying love, the official synopsis read.
In addition, Tanuja Chandra, Shonali Bose, Madhur Bhandarkar, Anubhav Sinha, Nikkhil Advani, Siddharth Roy Kapur, and Vasan Bala, as well as Chopra Jonas' mother Madhu Chopra, attended the premiere.
The "Farzi" series' founders Raj & DK will serve as the film's directors and showrunners in India.
¡°It¡¯s exciting to be one of the firsts to watch ¡®Citadel¡¯. I expected it ofcourse.We have been working together. Several teams are working together and this is the first stop for the show,¡± DK said.
When asked if he could reveal anything about the show, Dhawan stated the only thing he could reveal is that the Indian and American versions are "interconnected."

For the unversed, The Russo Brothers' AGBO and Amazon Studios jointly produce "Citadel." On April 28, Amazon will launch the first two episodes of the series in 40 different languages.
