Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, is soon to be seen on-screen. She has reportedly consented to participate in Netflix's reality series, The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. The core cast of the first two seasons, which included Neelam Kothari, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavna Pandey, and Seema Sajdeh, gave audiences an insight into their personal and professional life.
According to recent reports, two other accomplished female entrepreneurs will accompany Riddhima Kapoor Sahni in the following season.
¡°Fabulous Lives is travelling from Mumbai to Delhi. The creative team realised that they needed to introduce new faces into the mix. All three are well-known celebrities based in Delhi, but connected to Bollywood in one way or the other,¡± a source told Mid-Day, saying that Riddhima will be joined by Shalini Passi and Kalyani Saha Chawla.
¡°Shalini Passi is an art and design collector, art advisor and the creative director of Pasco group of companies. She is a long-time friend of Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan. Kalyani Saha Chawla is the founder and chief executive of a silver luxury home decor brand and consultant for an international luxury label. The three women are Karan¡¯s good friends and were happy to feature in his show. The story will move forward as Maheep, Bhavna, Seema and Neelam meet the trio in Delhi,¡± the insider added.
According to the report, producer Karan Johar "decided to feature three powerful women entrepreneurs" to the mix after considering the negative reception the prior two seasons garnered.
Seema Sajdeh recalls telling Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives producers she won't lie about her separation.
In a recent podcast with Shivani Pau, fashion designer Seema Sajdeh disclosed that, while being careful not to offend anyone, she had urged her producer to depict in the series the reality of her split from Sohail Khan.
She said, ¡°I just told my producer that look, whatever it is, it has to be the truth. As long as it doesn¡¯t hurt anyone¡¯s feelings.¡±
Speaking about how the show wasn¡¯t scripted, Seema emphasized that she had a straightforward conversation with the producers conveying her preference not to have any prior preparation. She clarified that contrary to what some might think, nothing in the series is scripted at all. She made it clear that if she were asked a question, particularly about her separation, she would respond honestly. She said, ¡°Contrary to popular belief, nothing on Bollywood Wives is scripted, ever. I told them if I am asked a question (about the separation), I will just say it.¡±
