Sankranthiki Vasthunam's OTT release is proving that its success is no fluke but a true game-changer despite whichever medium. After taking the theaters by storm on 14th January, the movie has now made an equally massive impact on the OTT scene. Starring the iconic Victory Venkatesh, the Telugu film, which hit Zee5 on March 1, has already set some jaw-dropping records, and is continuing to win hearts.

In just 12 hours of being available on Zee5, Sankranthiki Vasthunam was streamed by a whopping 1.3 million viewers. That¡¯s right, 13 lakh people tuned in! But it doesn¡¯t stop there ¨C the movie also racked up over 100 million minutes of streaming in just half a day, smashing Zee5¡¯s previous records.

To put it simply, this is the biggest OTT opening the platform has ever seen. Even giants like RRR and Hanuman couldn't hold a candle to this film's explosive debut. The film, which made a splash at the box office by crossing Rs 250 crore, was released in cinemas during the Sankranti festival and arrived on OTT after 46 days.

Directed by Anil Ravipudi, Sankranthiki Vasthunam features Venkatesh, Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary in key roles. This Bheems Cesarolio musical is produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. But this isn¡¯t just another hit for Venkatesh; this is his biggest one yet. And with the way Sankranthiki Vasthunam is performing on Zee5, it¡¯s clear that the film¡¯s journey is far from over.

Director Anil Ravipudi has already teased that a sequel might be in the works. On Zee5, Sankranthiki Vasthunam has been made available in five languages ¨C Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi ¨C and was even aired on Zee Telugu TV, making sure that no one misses out on this blockbuster.
