Sankranthiki Vasthunam OTT release details: Even before this Telugu movie hits theaters on January 14th as a Pongal release, the OTT platform for the Venkatesh starrer has already been announced. Sankranthiki Vasthunam will be released on ZEE5. A release date for OTT has not been revealed yet.

Sankranthiki Vasthunam plot

Sankranthiki Vasthunam is a lively blend of comedy and thrills that unfolds against the backdrop of a high-stakes investigation.

The story revolves around ACP YD Raju (Venkatesh Daggubati), a former IPS officer, who is unexpectedly drawn into a high-profile kidnapping case. The twist? The case is brought to him by Meenakshi (Meenakshi Chaudhary), his ex-girlfriend.

As Raju dives into the investigation, his wife, Bhagyalakshmi (Aishwarya Rajesh), becomes suspicious of his intentions, fearing that old flames may be rekindling between the former lovers.

Determined to keep an eye on her husband and protect their relationship, Bhagyalakshmi insists on joining the operation.

What follows is a rollercoaster of comedic misunderstandings, clever twists, and gripping moments as the trio navigates the investigation, balancing personal dynamics with professional challenges.

Written and directed by Anil Ravipudi, Sankranthiki Vasthunam stars Venkatesh Daggubati, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Aishwarya Rajesh in lead roles.

The film also features Upendra Limaye, Sai Kumar, Naresh, VTV Ganesh, Srinivas Avasarala, and Rajendra Prasad in key roles.

Produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, the film boasts music by Bheems Ceciroleo and cinematography by Sameer Reddy.

V Venkat is the action director and Narendra Logisa handles the VFX.
