The third season was announced just a few days back but the OTT giant allegedly made a teaser live by mistake on YouTube. According to the viral description of that now-private video, Squid Game Season 3 will drop on Netflix on June 27, 2025.

After the shocking events of Season 2, where Seong Gi-hun (played by Lee Jung-Jae) fights to stop the deadly competition, things are about to get even more intense in the final season. Director Hwang teased that the battle between Gi-hun and the mysterious Front Man (played by Lee Byung-hun) will continue and build up to a huge, dramatic conclusion.
