In the upcoming UK Original series 007's Road to a Million, the destiny of the competitors is decided by the mysterious individual known only as The Controller. Teams of two candidates will compete in the series for the top prize.
The Scottish Highlands, Venice, and Jamaica, among other well-known Bond sites, will be used for the series' filming.
The competitors will take on tasks all over the world while collaborating in pairs. To advance to the next task, they must get through barriers and uncover mysteries.
The antagonist who delights in making things tough for the competitors will be played by Brian Cox as the Controller. He'll always be keeping an eye on things and managing them from behind the scenes.
Speaking about being a part of the series, Brian Cox said, "I got to see how ordinary people would cope with being on a James Bond adventure. As they travel the world to some of the most iconic Bond locations, it gets more intense and nail-biting. I enjoyed my role as both villain and tormentor, with license to put the hopeful participants through the mangle.¡±
The unique partnership between Amazon Studios, AEON Productions, 72 Films, and MGM Alternative produced 007's Road to a Million.
Later this year, the unscripted series will debut exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 nations and territories.
Cox has acted in a variety of films, including X2: X-Men United, various Jason Bourne films, Churchill, Pixels, and most recently, Matt Greene-Delanghe's Skelly. In the Parenting for New Line and Max, Cox has been paired with Edie Falco and Lisa Kudrow.
And in the world premiere of The Score in Bath, UK, Cox will make a comeback to the stage to portray Johann Sebastian Bach.
