One of the most popular sports and one that is worshipped in India is cricket. The Indian Women's Cricket Team, on the other hand, is not well known. And it's high time we show the same respect to the Women's team as the Men in blue.
In the biography Shabaash Mithu, Taapsee most recently portrayed Mithali Raj, a former captain of the Indian women's cricket team. Her journey through life in the world of women's cricket is chronicled in the movie based on her life. It depicts her challenges and triumphs in women's cricket. Taapsee Pannu never fails to impress the audience with the roles that she portrays.
When the movie, Shabaash Mithu was released last month, it received a lukewarm response at the box office. Ahead of even Alia Bhatt's Darlings, the movie is trending at number one on OTT Giant in India.
Taapsee shared a screenshot of it and stated in her post, "Thank you, everyone, theatre mein na Sahi, OTT pe toh Pyaar Mila. Aur kaafi bumper opening lagi hai yahan toh."
Pannu also expressed her delight over it on her Twitter account. Tweeting about the OTT success of her movie.
