Tarla Dalal's Life

Tarla Dalal was an Indian cookbook author, chef, food critic, and host of cooking shows.

Her first book, The Pleasures of Vegetarian Cooking, was published in 1974. She has over 100 published novels and has sold over 10 million copies. She also founded the bimonthly journal Cooking & More and ran the biggest website devoted to Indian food. The Tarla Dalal Show and Cook It Up With Tarla Dalal were two of her cooking programmes.
