Thanupp tells the story of Pratheesh and Treesa, a young couple who start a new life in a picturesque village nestled among hills and rivers.
With the help of Prakasan, Pratheesh secures a job as a painter.

Thanupp is written and directed by Ragesh Narayanan and produced by Anu Ananthan and Dr. Lakshmi. The film's cinematography is handled by Manikandan P.S., with editing by Safder Merva and music composed by Bibin Ashok.
Vivek Muzhakkunnu has penned the lyrics, while Ratheesh Vijayan serves as the sound designer. Shanu Mithra is the project designer, and Jamnas Muhammed is the chief associate director.
The film's visuals are enhanced by colorist Liju Prabhakar, with makeup by Pradeep Gopalakrishnan and costumes by Anil Kottuli.
