The Crown is a historical drama show about Queen Elizabeth II's reign. The Queen's reign into the twenty-first century will be covered in the fifth and sixth seasons, which will conclude the show.

According to "Variety," the producers have revealed who will play Prince William and Kate Middleton in Season 6.

The young prince will be played by 16-year-old Rufus Kampa and 21-year-old Ed McVey, respectively. Kate Middleton will be portrayed by Meg Bellamy.

Meg Bellamy, former head girl, submitted self-taped auditions in response to a social media casting request, and she was awarded her first role.

Imelda Staunton will play Queen Elizabeth in the fifth season of The Crown, which will premiere in November. Jonathan Pryce will play Prince Philip, Lesley Manville will play Princess Margaret, Dominic West will play Prince Charles, Elizabeth Debicki will play Princess Diana, and Olivia Williams will play Camilla Parker Bowles. John Major, the former British prime minister, will also make an appearance.

Agrees To Conclude On Season 5. Showrunner Has Second Thoughts, Wants Season 6 To Wrap Up The Story

The popular semi-fictional drama's conclusion after five seasons was already announced by the streaming service. However, Peter Morgan, the show's creator, had second thoughts after realising that a sixth season would be necessary to properly represent the depth and complexity of the narrative.

The drama is fictional but loosely based on reality, according to Prince Harry, who signed his own programming agreement with Netflix with his wife, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex.
