Singham Again OTT release date: Ajay Devgn recently headlined Rohit Shetty¡¯s mega actioner that was released in theatres on November 1 coinciding with Diwali. The movie has grossed Rs 360.75 crores at the box office attaining the feat of being a commercial success. For those who missed it in theatres, Singham Again will be streaming on Prime Video from 27th December 2024 onwards.

The film which received mixed reviews from the critics saw Ajay Devgn reprising his character of DCP Bajirao Singham with Kareena Kapoor Khan as his wife Avni Kamat. Ranveer Singh took up the character of ACP Sangram ¡®Simmba¡¯ Bhalerao and Akshay Kumar as DCP Veer Sooryavanshi. Deepika Padukone played SP Shakti Shetty with Tiger Shroff as ACP Satya and Arjun Kapoor as Danger Lanka.

Jackie Shroff played the character of Omar Hafeez, Dayanand Shetty featured as Senior Inspector Daya, Shweta Tiwari was Shruti Bakshi, Siddhartha Jadhav portrayed Senior Inspector Santhosh Tawade and Ravi Kishan as a minister. Salman Khan in his Dabangg avatar also made a smashing cameo in Singham Again.

Bankrolled under the banner of Rohit Shetty Picturez, Reliance Entertainment, Jio Studios and Devgn Films, Singham Again also marked Rohit Shetty¡¯s debut as a writer who also directed this film primarily. For the uninitiated, this part is the fifth instalment of his Cop Universe and a direct sequel to Singham Returns (2014).

Singham Again plot summary

This Diwali bonanza was a retelling of a Ramayana chapter where Lord Sita was abducted by Ravana, flavoured in Rohit Shetty¡¯s style. The director in order to save the goddess (Kareena in the movie) brings all his cop stars from previous movies and makes sure to put up a grand showdown of good vs evil in a 144-minute runtime.
