Matinee plot summary
Matinee revolves around a circle of friends, one of whom, Arun (Sathish) owns a mansion valued at several crores among other assets. In an effort to earn some fast cash, his friends attempt to persuade him to sell the property, claiming that the building is haunted. Before long, their scheme fails when they discover that a real supernatural force exists there. The film was opened to lukewarm response due to its predictable plot and stereotyping of the genre.
