90 Producers Along With Farah Khan's Daughter Join Hands To Feed Stray Animals Inside Film City
Due to the lockdown shooting of any TV shows films or advertisements has been put on hold. This has led stray animals inside Mumbais Filmcity with no food. Producer Preeti Simoes as a part of her initiative #SaveThePaws reached out to a plethora of producers and TV actors to come forward and provide for these animals.
In a heart-warming gesture yesterday, 90 television producers, a few actors and Farah Khan's daughter Anya all came together to ensure no stray animal inside film city dies of hunger.

Due to the lockdown, shooting of any TV shows, films or advertisements has been put on hold. This has led stray animals inside Mumbai's Filmcity with no food and their condition is becoming worse with each passing day.
However, producer Preeti Simoes as a part of her initiative #SaveThePaws reached out to a plethora of producers and TV actors to come forward and provide for these animals.
In an interview with TOI, Preeti Simoes said, "Yesterday, a few watchmen from Film City got in touch with us and briefed us about the situation of animals inside as no one is feeding them. With shooting being shut the animals are finding it difficult to survive as they have no food. Usually, most of the animals who are on streets survive on the garbage that piles up outside but in Film City as the shoots are halted at the moment, there is no garbage."

Preeti further said, "So, today, the entire Producers group came together like Rohit Shetty has given a huge donation. Farah Khan's daughter Anya is sketching and she is selling them for Rs 1000. Till now she has given us Rs 70, 000 from her side by selling these sketches for feeding the animals. 90 producers of television like Rajan Shahi, Kavita Barjatiya, Fazila from SoL, Sandeep Sikcand, Saurabh Tiwari and a few actors like Roopali Ganguly, Jaya Bhattacharya, Bharti Singh, Arjun Bijlani, Karishma Tanna, Monalisa all have come together to help. We are now providing 20 kgs dog food packets on every set so that the watchmen can feed them food. "

"I am also buying bananas for monkeys and food grains for birds. All these producers were already working towards collecting money for the daily wages workers and now all have joined hands to help the stay animals. SaveThePaws has come ahead to take the initiative ahead," concluded Preeti Simeos.
It's truly amazing to witness how literally every life matters and people are going out of their way to save whoever they can. Please try to feed animals if you see them around you. Just a little bit of water and milk can do the deed.
