Vidya Balan Breaks Silence on Her Intimate Scenes in Do Aur Do Pyaar
Speaking with Free Press Journal, Vidya said, ¡°As actors, we are trained to portray characters but most of the times, my laughter on the sets gave enough breather to the discomforting or intimate scenes. The way this film is written is pleasing, there is a light touch to a subject like infidelity. The writing is very fun and nuanced at the same time which is a very fine balance. The film could have become very serious or frivolous else.¡±

Pratik Gandhi On Working With Vidya Balan
"When I was offered the film, I was called to meet her as they wanted to see us together... And then, we had a couple of readings also. I was dealing with that starstruck moment. I actually had to behave normal, and think, ¡®I'm just meeting a colleague¡¯. I had to behave like that,¡± the actor told PTI in an interview.
¡°With this laughter (of hers), she made things comfortable. The first time when we met and we were clicking those awkward couple photographs, she laughed and she said, ¡®This is awkward¡¯, and then she laughed,¡± he recalled.
He went on to add, ¡°I like the varied characters that she has created, and she always came across on screen as a very confident actor, very comfortable in all the characters. So, emoting those emotions never feels like she's trying or she's putting in a lot of effort. That effortlessness on the screen is what I love the most.¡±
Sendhil Ramamurthy Opens Up On Working With Vidya Balan
She told Pinkvilla, ¡°We talk about trying to find a project that we can work on together again. It was such a fruitful working experience with her. I just loved being on the sets with her.¡±
She went on to add, ¡°I just like to do something different, any role that challenges me, and as far as genres, I love doing comedy. I would love to try my hand at a kind of physical comedy.¡±
Talking about Bollywood, she added, ¡°I loved doing Shor in the City and I have loved doing this film as well. I have less expectations from Bollywood because, obviously, I'm an American actor who lives over here, but when the right role comes along, I would love to jump into it.¡±

He also spoke about Madgaon Express and said, ¡°I felt welcomed especially after ¡®Scam¡¯, which put me on the national platform, gave me national and to an extent international audience. And by audience, I mean the actual audience and even the makers, writers and directors. They are also the audience for an actor. I feel lucky to have gotten different scripts.
