Ajay Devgn & Tabu Starrer Drishyam 2 Becomes Third Hindi Movie To Enter Rs 200 Crore Club In 2022
Entering the Rs 200 crore club at the domestic box office, Drishyam 2 has become the third Hindi movie to do so in 2022.
Even the makers are shocked by the grand success of Drishyam 2. Nobody expected that the mystery thriller will create havoc at the box office. Abhishek Pathak who directed the Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer said that he didn't imagine in his wildest dreams that the movie will do such great business. The film is now setting record after record.

Entering the Rs 200 crore club at the domestic box office, Drishyam 2 has become the third Hindi movie to do so in 2022.
The movie that was released on Nov 18 is now behind Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra and Vivek Agnihotri's The Kashmir Files.

It was on the film's director Abhishek Pathak's insistence that he auditioned for David's role and as destiny would have it, he performed brilliantly in the audition and bagged the role. Elaborating on the same, he told IANS, "I got a call from Vicky Sidana's casting agency and auditioned for another role in the film. I even got selected for that. Later Abhishek Pathak, the director, asked me to audition for David's character and that's how I got the role. I must say I loved playing it as it was challenging."

The film starts with Siddharth and his role is critical in the climax. The actor, who is currently seen in the popular TV show, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein further shared how he prepared for his character in the movie.
