Yes, you have read it right. Producer Firoz Nadiadwala has confirmed that the iconic comedy-drama Hera Pheri is set to be back with a bang starring Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal in its third chapter. This means we will get to see the original cast in Hera Pheri 3.

Firoz Nadiadwala Confirms Hera Pheri 3 Is Coming Soon

Speaking of the upcoming instalment of Hera Pheri, Firoz Nadiadwala told Bollywood Hungama, "YouĄŻll get to see it very soon with the same star cast šC Akshay ji, Paresh bhai and Suniel ji. The story is in place, and we are working on certain modalities. ItĄŻll be made in the same way, retaining the innocence of the characters. We canĄŻt take past achievements for granted. So, we have to be extra careful in terms of our content, story, screenplay, characters, mannerism etc.Ą±

The cult comedy film was released in 2000 followed by its second chapter titled Phir Hera Pheri in 2006. The films' hilarious scripts and entertaining performances by the actors garnered much attention from the audiences.

From Babu Bhaiya's hilarious telephonic conversations in the film to Shyam's funny tone, the film is known for its bone-tickling dialogues. As per reports, Hera Pheri 3 is expected to release in 2023.

Paresh Rawal Will Work In Hera Pheri 3 Only For Money?

While the producer seems to be excited to see all the three stars reprising their roles in the upcoming Bollywood film, Paresh Rawal seems to disagree. Recently, the veteran actor said that he doesn't want to play the same old Baburao again.

However he did not even deny taking up the role. "If you ask me honestly, there is no excitement left in me for any of my characters unless it is put in a different backdrop," Paresh Rawal said.

"If I have to do the same thing again, usi prakar ki dhoti pehenke, chashme lagake chalna hai (if I have to wear a similar dhoti and walk in the same way with glasses)... except for money, of course, I will charge a bomb! So apart from money, there will be no joy for me. So the story has to be good," added the actor, whose dialogues will remain in minds of his loyal fans.

One of his funniest dialogues from the film Hera Pheri that will make you LOL is - "Woh mein mast tel mein fry karke, woh mein kha gaya!"
