This year is all about sequels. Some of the most-awaited sequels of blocbuster movies will be released this year. From Salman Khan's Tiger 3 to Sunny Deol's Gadar 2, Bollywood is gearing up for the release of the sequel of some of the most popular Hindi-language films in cinemas this year.
Akshay Kumar is returning to the Hera Pheri franchise and Ayushmann is teasing the audience with his character 'Pooja' from Dream Girl. While Hera Pheri 3 is expected to go on floors soon, Dream Girl 2 will be making its way to the silver screens soon.

1. Tiger 3
One of Bollywood most talked-about and most-awaited films is Salman Khan's upcoming film from the Tiger franchise. 'Tiger 3' starring people's favourite 'Salman Bhai' and Vicky Kaushal's actress wife Katrina Kaif created a huge buzz ever since its inception.
The film is the sequel/2nd part of Salman's movie Ek Tha Tiger, which hit theatres on August 15, 2012. People have been waiting for the third part of the film 'Tiger 3' which is likely to release during EID 2023. The exact Tiger 3 release date is April 21. Shah Rukh Khan is doing a cameo role in the film.

2. Gadar 2
Tara Singh and Sakina's eternal love story is returning to the screens after 22 years. Released in 2001, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha became a blockbuster. Sunny Deol played the fearless Tara Singh whose dialogues are remembered by people even today.
Ameesha Patel, who has been away from the limelight of Bollywood for a while now played the rich Pakistani girl Sakina in the film. Now, the 2nd part of the blockbuster Hindi movie is set to be back with both Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel reprising their roles.

3. Dream Girl 2
Another quirky and much-anticipated upcoming Hindi film of 2023 is Ayushmann Khurrana's Dream Girl 2. This comedy drama directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa stars Ayushmann Khurrana opposite Ananya Pandey in lead roles. Scheduled to hit screens on July 7, 2023, Dream Girl 2 is the spiritual sequel of the 2019 film Dream Girl. Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav and Vijay Raaz also features in key roles.

4. Indian 2
Actor-turned-politican Kamal Haasan revived his acting career with Vikram last year. in Indian 2, Kamal Haasan played the character of Senapathy - a freedom fighter-turned-vigilante.
While details of the is under the wraps, reports suggest that the film's plot is likely to be based on Haasan's character. Rakul Preet Singh, Kajal Aggarwal and Gulshan Grover are some of the actors who will be seen in the upcoming sequel of Indian 2 among others.

5. Pushpa: The Rule
Meanwhile, if reports are to be believed, south star Allu Arjun¡¯s Pushpa 2: The Rule has left behind Salman Khan¡¯s Tiger 3 and even Shah Rukh Khan¡¯s Jawan To become the most-awaited films this year on the list of ¡®Most Awaited Hindi Films As On February." The film, which stars Allu Arjun in the lead role, is re-releasing in Hindi.
