People Call Akshay Kumar A 'Hypocrite' As He Reunites With SRK And Ajay Devgn For Vimal Ad
A year after apologizing, Akshay Kumar returns as the brand ambassador of Vimad Ad alongside SRK and Ajay, netizens are enraged.
Akshay Kumar is currently basking on the success of his recently released film Mission Raniganj. Not commercially at large but the biographical drama is being critically hailed for its storyline and portrayal of such historic bravery.
Kumar who is equally famous for his commercials has jumped in a fresh pool of controversy.

A year after apologising for endorsing Vimal, Akshay is at it again and the internet is going ¡®WTF¡¯. He has reunited with other popular ambassadors of the brand, actors Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn. Actress Soundarya Sharma best known for featuring in Bigg Boss 16 is also a part of this ad.
The ad hasn¡¯t been officially shared by Vimal yet but one of the fan pages has shared it on Instagram.

The ad starts with Shah Rukh and Ajay waiting for Akshay outside his house. But Akshay is busy listening to music with his headphones on. When Ajay honks the horn to get his attention, Khan tries to get him to notice by throwing a ball at his window. However, it accidentally hits their neighbour Soundarya's window, and she gets upset.

Soundarya comes out on her balcony, angry about the broken window. Shah Rukh, feeling scared, blames Ajay for it. Feeling frustrated, Ajay opens a packet of Vimal products, eats it, and points at Akshay's window. The flowing smell of the product makes Akshay come to the window, and Ajay gestures for him to come down.
The ad ends with all of them doing the brand's signature style.
Soon after this video went viral, several users took to the comment section and wondered why Akshay returned despite facing backlash.
One user said, "Akshay will have to hear from the people. He had said he won't do tobacco ads." "Akshay Kumar had said that now he will not do pan masala ad because his fans were not happy when he first did Vimal. Then why did he do this again?" another commented. The third said, "Akshay Kumar was not going to do a Vimal ad, then what happened? What is this decision?"

When Akshay Apologised for endorsing Vimal!
In a long note, Kumar had said, ¡°I am sorry. I would like to apologise to you, all my fans and well-wishers. While I have not and will not endorse tobacco, I respect the outpouring of your feelings in light of my association with Vimal Elaichi. With all humility, I step back. I have decided to contribute the entire endorsement fee towards a worthy cause.¡±
