Sargun Mehta on Aamir Khan's accent in Laal Singh Chaddha
Now, actress Sargun Mehta, who from Hindi television shows and films has moved to the Punjabi film industry, has said that Aamir Khan could have done a bit better with his accent in Laal Singh Chaddha.
Sargun Mehta says Aamir Khan could have done a bit better
"If Aamir would have said in pure Punjabi, nobody could have understood. If the superstar next does a Bengali film and use too much of Bengali words, then we¡¯ll be not able to understand it. Aamir Khan sir is not a Punjabi and he has taken up a role. Actors are supposed to take versatile roles. I can say that he could have done a bit better but jitna bhi unhone kia hai bohot kaam and mehnat lagti hain sirf utna karne mein bhi (Whatever he has done in the film, it takes a lot to get the results. He has been calm and has worked really hard)," she told India.com.
Meanwhile, Aamir Khan recently opened up on his first heartbreak during the launch of the song Phir Na Aisi Raat Ayegi from Laal Singh Chaddha.
Aamir said, "This was the time when I used to play tennis, she was also in the same club with me, and one fine day I found out that she left the country with her family."
"I was very heartbroken, and the tricky part is that she doesn't know, Bas Ek hi cheez achi Hui ki main bohot accha tennis player ban Gaya (Only good thing was I became a very good tennis player), later after some years, I played tennis in state-level championships and became a state-level champion".
